Realizing that the traditional fish model can be limiting in less reliable punchy surf, similar to the waves in Newport, he started playing with its architecture while still remaining true to the original design. The boards tail rocker in combination with its bottom contours, rail shape, foil, fins, and fin placement achieves a forward movement. These features aid the
