Occasionally, you just get a cracker Temp, like this red and black fruited Spaniard by way of Rioja, and you remember why the variety deserves its flowers. Toasty, smoky French oak gives so much balance and character to the palate, while a slightly sweet, balsamic acid nips the lips. Serve at tapas night, with chorizo and fried cheeses.
